We have taken this remote and added extensive physical modifications so it can be customized further. We've added JP1 headers and an EEPROM for additional programming memory. We've even modified the IR emitter so it extends out a little further from the case and providing additional range. Given that it was modified to allow for more customization, we've added special popular functions from our previous custom remotes: 3 minute skip plus 1 minute skipback, multi-ReplayTV capability (up to 4 unique codes are supported), multi-TiVo support (up to 3 unique Sony TiVo units and up to 8 unique TiVo series1/2 units). We are confident that this is the best overall remote control for ReplayTV users, especially those with multiple ReplayTV units and even for those with a ReplayTV/TiVo mix.
